Another way to render your glass surfaces scratch free is to softly sand and buff them bright with a metal polish product. A glass door like windows can receive a myriad of scratches over the course of its lifetime. Avoid using rough fabric or paper towels as they can add additional scratches to the glass. One of the slower methods is to use nail polish and even though it takes some time this is one of the better scratch removing approaches.

Give pet scratches the boot with polishing compound. After the area is thoroughly cleaned dab a bit of metal polish onto another soft and dry cloth then gently rub it into the scratch. This prevents the compound from drying out and creating more scratches. If the scratch is shallow it can easily be buffed out leaving the glass virtually scratch free.

Scratches can occur for many reasons such as your dog scratching at the door when you leave severe weather moving furniture in or out or scraping the door when bringing in the groceries. Pet scratches on glass look unsightly and can interfere with your view but they can be removed. You can buff out scratches in glass with a lot of different products. This process is great for removing scratches in mirrors.

A puppy that hasn t been housebroken and a curious cat are no match for a glass door. Polish the scratched glass with the sander or buffer while you continually moisten the area by lightly squeezing out a trickle of water from a saturated sponge.
